“Almost an Angel”, a charcoal drawing on paper, created in a Sunday morning drawing lab.
My life drawings are my form of meditation, I completely lose myself when I’m working on them, simply focusing on the form, the figure, the line and value of the pose. All my figure drawings are drawn from a life model, it adds to the essence of the final piece, as you need to work in a set time frame and allow for minor movements and changes in the figure.
This original drawing measures 13 1/2” x 10 1/2” and is matted in a 20” x 16” black mat.
